ALS/SSG Library -- Book list

USING THE ALS-SSG LIBRARY

• This is a self-service library, please keep it neat!
• All books are filed by reference number.
• If you remove a book, journal, or video from the shelves, please put it back where you found it.
• As a courtesy to all users, books cannot be removed from this room without being checked out first. Please follow the instructions in the "Book Check Out/Check In" section below.

To check out a book:

1. Open BookCat if it is not already running.
2. Press CTRL + F2.
3. In Borrower field, scan your Berkeley Lab Id barcode or type your employee number.
4. In Barcode field, scan the bar code on the book.
5. Select update.

To check in (return) a book:

1. Open BookCat if it is not already running.
2. Press CTRL + F3.
3. In Borrower field, scan your Berkeley Lab Id barcode or type your employee number.
4. In Barcode field, scan the bar code on the book.
5. Select update.
6. Re shelve the book (alphabetically by author) and you are done.
