as thin films, exchange biased systems, novel magnetic
materials using soft x-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) as well
as soft x-ray magnetic
circular dichroism (XMCD) and linear dichroism (XMLD)
• Improving the understanding of
basic effects in soft x-ray magnetic dichroism
• Development of novel instrumentation
for soft x-ray magnetic spectroscopy experiments
